The Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (Delta) is an internationally recognized and highly respected diploma that represents the highest TEFL qualification in the world.
It’s for people who already teach English in adult, primary or secondary education contexts, and it’s aimed at an international audience of both native and non-native English teachers working in any part of the world.
You can now take Delta Course 100% online from anywhere in the world with University Programmes.
Will the fact that I’ve taken Delta Online appear on my certificate?
No. Delta Online leads to exactly the same certificate as the face-to-face Delta. Assessed outcomes are the same for all trainees, so there is no need for separate certification. We will also issue a second and separate certificate for the extra 50hrs of work you will engage in exclusively focused on developing your new online teaching English: Certificate in Teaching English Online.

FLEXIBILITY & PROGRAMME TIMETABLE
Connect just once to twice a week, for 4hrs, and take the rest of the course at your own pace and in your own time.
You choose the day and time for Teaching Practice, no matter if you based in Europe, Asia, North or South America or Oceania! * live sessions are recorded too!.
Our Delta 100% Online course timetable combines both asynchronous and synchronous contact learning, with the benefit of having access to a range of online resources and materials, to allow for maximum flexibility and preparation in how you do your course and minimal time spent away from earning an income. Because, let’s face it, not everyone can afford to take unlimited time off work
One of the main differences between our course and that of other centres (e.g. The Distance Delta), is that with the online Delta courses out there, the tutors working on these programmes may or may not have had any experience in teacher training (e.g. Local Delta Tutors). On our course, however, you are guaranteed to work with formally approved Delta tutors, not just a local tutor who may or may not be a Delta tutor. And the expertise you will develop by working directly with a professional and experienced teacher trainer who gives extremely effective, individualized feedback, can’t compare to working with a teaching mentor who may or may not have more teaching experience than you!
Most Delta courses out there are run over 6 weeks, Monday to Friday, very intensively. There are also some options which run over 5 weeks! One of the drawbacks of the full-time contact Delta is the speed at which information is imparted, which is often too fast to take on board everything in just 4 weeks or 5 weeks. However, our Delta allows for more time for you to process information and prepare for teaching practice. How do we do this?.
